When I see pitching score lines like that, it reminds me how much we overrate K's in our scoring. You certainly should not be able to walk 2 and give up 14 runs and not have that hurt you because you struck out 8. Maybe its just me, but that seems silly.

Problem is, I always forget to propose something before the season starts!

Or don't even go with Ks, don't even go with wins. Go with runs.

6 runs against is a -3. Just like in FCHL. You can lose a game 1-0 and still have it be a successful night for your goalies.

scores like this have been happening for years

this has been brought up many times
including by me

i personally dont like it but like the discussions went its hard to change anything cause guys drafted with these rules
in fact i think most of you agreed that you like this format but i don't recall to convo to well

Pitching staffs change so much from year to year that I have a hard time believing anybody would have that much of an issue altering the scoring. From most of the league's posts it seems like everyone agrees the current scoring isn't good. if somebody feels strongly against changing it, I haven't heard anything from them. I think the difficult thing isn't agreeing to change the scoring, but agreeing on what to change it to.

 I know recently people wanted to get rid of pitching but that didn't happen. I'd like to keep it. We should definitely look at this again though especially with a lot of newer owners.

Unreal finish. I was up by 2, top of the 9th in the last game of the night. We each have one batter left. My batter strikes out, and his gets a hit. MLB game+night ends 1 batter later.

 

Also, this was Prince Fielder 2nd day off of the whole year. BAD EI choice Manager!

Story of my season, cant win the close game.

Ya I was watching that was crazy.
I was pissed earlier cause I go locked out by 2 minutes on putting Moreland in. And of course he gets 9 points. Houston pitching saved my ass

I was kinda hoping I would be at full strength by the time the conference finals rolled around, but just as I got Freeman back, I lose Pence to the DL. Doesn't sound like Stanton will be back in time either so that's a bummer. It's pretty much been like this all year. Get one back, send one to the DL.

i cant complain to much ive gad a few key injuries ( brantly ramirez frees hamilton )all year but like you one got hurt another came back

i was just lucky with a couple of key trades that filled my roster (ortiz pujos reyes houston) houston alone won me that last game against arp

( that JAY TRADE going to cost me at least a beer to jay at the ahl draft)
