After 8 games, my team has outscored the 2nd-place team by an AVERAGE of 9 points per game. That sounds like a brag, but it's mostly just amazing when things come together - I don't exactly expect Adrian Gonzalez to lead the MLB in home runs by the end of the year. For the two games that my SS missed - my weakest position, my only qualifying bench player, who is normally a backup, not only started both games but hit in front of Jose Bautista for both of them.
