Since Coco crisp is signed for next year, if you want to drop him, you have to buy him out, so you would get $1.75 in cap relief from his $3.50 salary, and $1.75 would count against your 2016 cap. If you drop him after the auction(ie. after the season has started), there is no buyout penalty
Also, Jay Austin from your farm is a forced call up or drop. I'm going to go ahead and drop him for you since he is playing in the frontier league. If you want him on your roster for some reason, just let me know.
