This would be some combo of Dubey's and Broadway's ideas. Basically the gist is that we would immediately disperse a certain number of assets to a certain number of teams, thus increasing the bottom teams and weakening the gators, while still leaving enough assets so as not to cripple the incoming GM, We would start looking for a replacement GM immediately, and MDG or a commish would set lineups until we can find a replacement.
NOTE: for option 1 and 2, the # of assets being dispersed and the benefactors will be decided in the future, and are not set in stone.
Now, with all that in mind, here is what I propose: 1. Koji Beef, Reverse Cowgills, and Fearsome Beavers each receive 2 assets from the Douchegators. Go Bears and Newmarket Hurricanes each receive 1 asset. All other teams will receive no compensation. 2. Each of those teams will exchange one asset with the Douchegators for each asset received. Matt and Dave will together decide on 5 assets on each team that are considered that team’s “worst assets”, and those will not be eligible to be exchanged. If the asset you take is a farm player, you must send a farm player back, and same goes for roster players. 3. Each transaction would work like a trade, with all cap for this season only being exchanged with the players being moved. 4. The 5 teams will be given an order of 1-5. The draft will go as such: 1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5 5. Only Reverse Cowgills and Koji beef will be eligible for the number 1 overall selection, with each given a 50/50 shot at Mike trout. The loser of the coin flip will get the #2 selection. Steve will be #3, and a coin flip will determine 4 and 5 between Jay and Andre. 6. At the end, the Douchegators will lose their 8 best assets. Due to Danny’s impeccable management skills, this will not cripple the franchise. The new owner will still have many good assets to work with, as well as 2 first round picks in each of the next 2 years thanks to trades that Danny has made in the past. 7. How is this fair to the other 6 teams? Well, it’s not. However, it should go a long ways in bridging the gap between the bottom and the top of the league. With so many new owners coming in recently, parity is more important than ever, IMO, to keep new owners interested in the league. While the other 6 teams will not be receiving compensation, they will see a huge increase in their odds of winning the title over the next couple of years, with the Douchegators knocked down a few pegs, this should more than make up for not getting any assets from the DOuchegators. 8. The dispersal draft will be done immediately. Danny will continue to manage his team passively (no trades), while we search for his replacement
Broadway's thoughts
1) Trout would be unavailable. To much of an advantage to the first team that gets to choose, whoever that might be. He would go into the 15 draft as a free agent 2) Cowgills and Beef would then select one player from Douche with the caveat that they need to send a player back to Douche that fills the position of the player they just took 3) Have a 1 round dispersal draft for all teams that have never made a FCBL final with Cowgills and Beef getting top 2 spots in reverse order of #2. Once again you need to send back to Danny a player of your choosing but it has to fit the position that you are taking from Douche 4) Team taking over from Danny keeps his farm
Option 2:
Same as above except Danny continues to passively manage his team for the rest of this season and the playoffs, then we have the dispersal draft and look for a new owner in the offseason.
Option 3: We start searching for a new owner immediately, that owner takes over the douchegators franchise in it's current state with no alterations made
Option 4: We wait until the offseason, and completely disband the entire roster back into the free agent pool and draft pool. Then we have some form of expansion draft for the new owner coming in. Details would be ironed out at a later date

i no im in the minority but i really hate the immediate dispersal
i see no good reason why the certain teams get a shot at trout cause they decided to dump this year
finding a owner is easy , i can get one fast
and i think the vote is kinda swayed cause wouldnt the bottom 6 vote for option 1
i dont no maybe im looking at it wrong but thats what i see
JP, even if we get a new owner right away (lets say May 15th). I still think there has to be a dispersal draft. Having a new guy come in and reap the benefits of a full Danny team is not something that should happen IMO
Here is my dilemna. Having Koji and Cowgill being the only ones involved in the dispersal is not good IMO if it goes beyond 1 player each. The goal is to help those 2 teams, not make them playoff contenders. If we give them 2 players and noone else then I think there teams might surpass the strength of other teams which is not fair
I am with you 100% on Trout. I strongly believe he should be automatically dispersed from Danny's team and be ineligible for anyone in 2014 and then become available at auction in 2015
Just some more thoughts from me after I have had time to digest the whole situation
