 Took a look at our game late last night...and saw this:

Last game of night, LAA vs NYY, top of 9th, one out.

I was up by 0.5

Up to bat was my guy Iannetta. Count is 0-2. If he strikes out, I lose. He fouls off like 3 in a row, and takes a few balls, has a 11pitch at bat, and manages to walk. Im now up by 1.5, whew, "I won the game"

Next batter is supposed to be Cowgill, he gets pinch hit for by....Ibanez, your guy. Oh crap. 

Luckily, Ibanez strikes out, ends the game, I win by 2.5.

 

(hope that doesnt come off as rubbing it in, just telling the story of a last minute finish and how close it really was)
